Manchester United are ready to make a £50m bid for Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling, 20, who has stalled on contract talks at Anfield. (Sun - subscription only)

Argentina Under-17 striker Thomas Conechny plunged 10ft when falling out of a hotel window after getting over-excited while playing a computer game Fifa 15. He sprained both ankles and suffering bruising. (Independent)
