Yanga’s Secretary General Beno Njovu, has asked the club's fans to
remain calm as the club is finalizing a deal with the former National
Team's Coach Marcio Maximo to join the club.
Njovu told Goal that the club management recognizes the teaching ability that Maximo has in shaping Players.
He added that they are about to close the deal as the conversation between both parties is going on well.
He added if Maximo boosted the status of Taifa Star, who managed to climb to 89th in the FIFA rankings then he will do wonders with Yanga.
“In fact we are about to finalize our deal and soon Maximo will be in Tanzania to support Yanga, he is a great coach he has the passion for soccer and we will soon be with him" said Njovu.
Marcio Maximo coached Taifa Stars in a productive and successful spell, Maximo is known for giving chances to the young players as well as demanding discipline in his squads.
