Tanzania remain 107th in May Fifa ranking

Taifa Stars are unmoved in the May Fifa ranking released on Thursday after as they maintain their position in Africa

Tanzania’s senior national team maintained their 107th position in the latest Fifa world ranking released on Thursday.
Taifa Stars are now the ranked 30th in Africa with the top 5 occupied with Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal.
The likes of Zimbabwe, Sudan, Libya, Namibia and Kenya are all below Tanzania in the ranking
Meanwhile Algeria remain at the summit of African football with 917 points which put them in the 20th position in the world while Cote d’Ivoire are second in Africa and ranked 23rd in the world.
The top 17 positions are unaltered from last month, which means that Germany (1st, unchanged) continue to lead the way ahead of Argentina (2nd, unchanged) and Belgium (3rd, unchanged).
